The management of Etoile FC had confirmed that the team would be playing at Jalan Besar Stadium on 26 March 2011 against the reigning AFF Suzuki Cup Champion, Malaysia (or better known as the Harimau Muda) at 8pm. This match would be played after Courts Young Lions take on Albirex Niigata (S) FC at 5pm.
This game was hastily scheduled in view of the recent tsunami/earthquake that was faced by Japan on 11 March 2011. This charity game was also held in part due to what the Ultras had done when the Stars faced Albirex Niigata (S) earlier on. Led by Pierre of Etoile Ultras, donations were collected amongst the Ultras, including one that came from Mr Patrick Vallee (ex-coach of Etoile FC).
The Etoile Ultras would urge all fans of football to attend the game and do their part for charity in this fund-raiser. It would also give Singapore football fans a chance to catch the Harimau Muda in action on our very own ground.
Tickets are available at Jalan Besar Stadium on matchday. Prices are $5 for adults and $1 for children.
Nearest MRT Station: Lavender MRT Station.
