Following the draw for the Singapore Cup Quarter-Finals, Etoile FC would be facing Gombak United 3 times in the month of August 2011 within the space of 10 days.
Etoile FC, despite being deducted 5 points due to a Disciplinary Hearing conducted for their role with Hougang United in a pre-match brawl, is still in the hunt for the S-League title and Singapore Cup.
