Stan Fougeroud to Leave Etoile FC

Talented midfield/forward Stan Fougeroud have officially played his last game for Etoile FC this season after appearing as a substitute in the 81st minute in the Singapore Cup clash between Tanjong Pagar United FC. Stan almost capped a fairytale ending to his last appearance in Singapore with a volley that was saved by Ridhuan Bahrudin.

We caught up with Stan and asked him 5 questions:

1) Who is your favourite player in Etoile FC?
A: Theo Raymond the best.

2) What do you like about Etoile FC?
A: The fan club

3) Any words for the Ultras?
A: Thank you for everything, and I hope to see you all again =)

4) Will you come back to Singapore to play in the S-League again?
A:  I don't know, maybe one day.

5) What are your plans now?
A: To play in Europe maybe.

With the skills that Stan is blessed with, we definitely believe that he would be a boon for any clubs that sign him on. Even better, we may see him follow the footsteps of Frederick Mendy and Cyril Bagnost in signing for a local S-League club one day, and help develop the football of Singapore.

We wish Stan Fougeroud all the best in his endeavours and certainly hope that he would find success in whichever club that he is in.

For fans who would want to sent Stan off, he would be at the Changi Airport Terminal 3 at 11pm. He would be departing at around 2am on a Qatar Airways plane. More details will be released on our twitter: @etoilefcfans

Allez Etoile, Allez Stan, Allez Ultras!

*We edited some parts of the Q&A for clarity purpose.
