Etoile FC will finally take on the field for a competitive fixture after General Elections held in Singapore forced S-League fixtures to be postponed to a later against a resiliant opponent in Balestier Khalsa. However, the Stars were involved in some friendlies which allowed for their players to get precious playing time.
8 goals scored in 2 games against lesser opponents meant that the team was able to fine-tune tactics and adapt to the weather of Singapore, which had hit record heights recently.
